How to play.
Mixapix® is a take-off of the slider puzzle. It is a slider puzzle but with an interesting twist. The App allows the user to select the images to be used for the puzzle. Interestingly, the user may add a reverse side image to the puzzle to make the game even more complicated. Users may also select the number of tiles for the puzzle.
Start:
Once you are into the App, simple shake the iPhone or iPod touch and the image will be scrambled. The timer starts as soon as you slide the first puzzle piece. The object, of course, is to reassemble the puzzle in the shortest time and using the fewest moves. You can also tap the "Shuffle" icon (far left icon at the bottom) to select to shuffle the puzzle.
Tap any tile and the tile will flip to show a portion of the image located on the reverse side of the puzzle.
Help:
If you need help recalling the images, tap the Puzzle icon (2nd from left at bottom) to reveal the front image. There is a "Back Side" button to show you the reverse side image. Tap "Return" to go back to the puzzle.
Solve:
Tap the Shuffle icon and select "Uncle" and the puzzle will be solved.
Tools:
Tap the "Tools" icon (center icon at bottom) to select the number of tiles, enter your name for storage of scores. You may also select to show numbers on the tile pieces and allow the puzzle to mix up the front and back image pieces.
Pictures:
Tap the "Camera" icon (2nd from right at bottom) to select images either by taking photos or from your photo albums.
Scores:
You can save your scores. View them by tapping on the "Scores" icon at the lower right of the image.
